The Rug Lane Vintage & Secondhand Markets are a community based market event where you can come along to buy or sell secondhand and vintage goods including clothing, accessories and vinyl. Run in Brisbane and then Hong Kong, they are a place to come find secondhand and vintage goods and we welcome up-cycled and eco-friendly products. We welcome all members of the community to come spend the day, do some shopping, enjoy the music and hang around. Expect a friendly community vibe and lots of pre-loved treasures to find.
At previous events we've been joined by Fauve Radio doing their live radio show throughout the day and had live DJs spinning tunes on the decks throughout the day including Nick from Vintage Vinyl HK. Make and Do HK have also joined us to run workshops throughout the day.

The weather did not put a dent on the final Rug Lane markets in Hong Kong on June 23rd. Despite the rainy weather (we were destined to have at least one rainy market day) our Rug Lane Vintage and Secondhand Markets in Hong Kong finished with a bang.
The crowd of buyers that flowed into Mahka throughout the day were fantastic and the atmosphere was at a high. As well as vintage and secondhand goods available, there were a number of eco-friendly and sustainable local products on sale throughout the day and Tori Mainey made another guest appearance with her rack full of donated goods with all proceeds going to Mothers Choice. She received a healthy sum of donations on the day for the charity so big thank you to all who donated.
Judging by all the smiling faces chatting away while rummaging for goods with a beer in hand ... I think it's safe to say our guests had a great day!
We want to say a huge thanks to all the sellers and buyers who came along to support and enjoy the event. And all our HK events for that matter. An enormous thank you to our friends who gave us a helping hand. Special shout out to our photographer Hugo who managed to pap some great pictures which will you can find here. Also to our friends over at Black Kite Brewery for supplying the beers, Nick from Vintage Vinyl HK, the ladies at Make and Do HK for the craft workshops, the team at Fauve Radio for the beats and last but not least the fantastic team at Mahka.
xx The RL Team
