You may recognise our muse of the month… she is that immaculately dressed woman you have probably seen gracing various street style sites and magazines, and pondered to yourself if you too could pull off that ball gown with a pair of trainers and beret?
Meet Patricia Manfield, the latest star of our Rug Lane monthly muse series. The Moscow-born, Milan-raised, and now London-based starlet is not only a street style favourite but also a singer who is gearing up to release her long-awaited album.
Originally from Moscow, Patricia’s spent her early years travelling the world with her family of musicians. Later in life, trying her hand at Law in Naples, going on to study fashion at Central Saint Martins in London and afterwards moving to Milan where she set up her fashion blog The Aterlier with then partner Giotto Calendoli. After leaving her blogging days behind in Milan she now focuses solely on her music career back in London whilst collaborating on the occasional fashion project, alongside being regularly papped for her impressive street style.
With her personal twist on sassy Italian chic and a side order of sex appeal, Patricia hit the street style scene with a bang! For her it’s all about making a statement, embracing that high/low mix while switching up her looks to match her playful mood. Starting with a solid foundation of basics she then adds items that may seem outrageous on the runway, but when paired back with something more laid back, it all comes together. A fearless approach Patricia likes to call "effortless but elegant".
Having fun with fashion is a concept we admire and seems to be a running theme with our monthly muses such ( see Peggy Gou and Rina Sawayama). We cannot wait to hear Patricia’s debut album and see more of her looks grace our screens. You can find Patricia via her Instagram where we hope to hear news of her album launch soon.
