SHIPPING AND RETURNS

Australian Orders

We currently only ship to Australia. If you are outside Australia you can contact us to request international shipping. Pricing for these regions will be determined based on individual requests. Your order will be shipped within 48 hours after your payment is approved. Shipping to Australia will be delivered within 3-10 business days, depending on the destination. Please note that once an order is successful, we cannot accept cancellations or changes. 

 

International Shipping

Unfortunately we don't have shipping standards elsewhere at the moment. If you are outside Australia, please contact us and we can work with you directly to get your desired item to you. Your order will be shipped within 48 hours after your payment is approved and postage time is 3-21 business days after approval depending on chosen check out shipping option (standard or express).  It is the customer's responsibility to track their order once it has been dispatched. Please note there may be delays due to customs once the package has reached your country.

Email Confirmation

After you place your order, you will receive an email to acknowledge your order has been received. This does not mean that we have confirmed your order: only after your PayPal details have been approved and the delivery address has been verified will your order be accepted and the items shipped. At this point you will receive an email from us confirming your order. As most of our items are singular pieces, there may be a situation where it was previously sold. If this is the case, you will be informed of the out-of-stock pieces and your payment for the items will not be processed.

 

Shipping Status

You will receive an email informing you that your order has been shipped with the tracking number of your parcel. 

 

Lost Package

RUG LANE is not responsible for any lost or stolen packages after it has been shipped. Orders are sent according to the address given to us for shipping. We are not responsible for the cost of lost or returned packages due to incorrect address given by the customer during order processing, or if the addressee is not present to accept them, and therefore further arrangement has to be made to receive the order.


RUG LANE does not provide refund, return or exchange if items are damaged, lost or stolen during the shipping process. We provide tracking services to monitor the shipping if this is something that you require. For damaged items you will need to contact the postal company either HK Registered Post or Australia Post depending on delivery.

Refunds/ Exchanges/Returns

Please remember when purchasing vintage and secondhand items, that they are pre-loved and will therefore have occasional marks or defects.  RUG LANE has taken careful consideration for detailing items and do the best we can to detail everything we can see. Please check the descriptions and measurements carefully BEFORE purchasing items.

RUG LANE does not do refunds, returns or exchanges.

RUG LANE will allow a cancellation within 12 hours of a purchase and can refund the money in this instance. If you need to cancel an order please email info@ruglane.com titled "Order (number) cancellation"

We will allow a refund/return if the item has been grossly misrepresented in description but only under extreme circumstances. We will base the judgment on the photographic evidence we take of each item during our detailing process. When returning an item (if permitted by RUG LANE in advance) please ensure to have it as registered post with a tracking number.

Customer Information and Sales Tax

Your order may be subject to customs clearance procedures outside Australia, which can cause delays beyond our original delivery estimates. You may also be subject to import duties and taxes, which are assessed once a shipment reaches your country. You are responsible for any custom clearance charges. Please refer to your local customs authority for more information.
